PicoBalloon Challenge 2019 has started

The PicoBalloon Challenge 2019 has been started! As a part of the Brno Space Days 2019, 10 teams have sent their picoBalloons to see which will stay in the air for the longest time. PicoBalloons consist of a helium filled balloon and a small probe. They fly in the heights of 10 – 15 km and can stay airborne even for weeks. Amateur teams from Czech Republic, Germany, Poland and Slovakia, are competing for the price of 1000 EUR. Spacemanic as one of the organisers of the Challenge, wishes good luck to all the teams.
