What will you do:
You will be responsible for preparation, maintenance, and creation of CAD models, drawings, and other related documentation
Validate the mechanical integrity of product systems and subsystems
Design assembly jigs and co-create integration procedures
Participate in prototype testing, analyze results, and make necessary adjustments to designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and thermal components
Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with industry standards and project requirements
Attend and actively participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates
What do we expect from you?
Proven
expertise in mechanical systems and subsystems design for spacecraft through work or academia
Experience in mechanical systems integration, testing, and troubleshooting
Experience
with engineering software tools such as SolidEdge, SolidWorks, Comsol,
or similar, and programming skills in MATLAB or Python are beneficial
Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate, to deal with challenges independently and effectively
English on the proficient level
Last but not least, you should be a space enthusiast
